Application & Registration

How can I apply?

Applying is quick and easy — everything is done online. Simply fill out a form, confirm your email address and upload recent photos. Your profile will then be added to the STARBOXX database, where clients can find you and suggest you for projects.

Do I need experience?

No, experience is not required. STARBOXX works with both professionals and newcomers. If you enjoy being in front of the camera or taking part in productions, you can sign up at any time.

Does registration cost anything?

Registration is completely free. There are no hidden fees or membership charges. You only receive a fee once you are booked for a project.

Are there any age restrictions?

No. From babies to seniors — STARBOXX is looking for people of all ages.

What can I do to improve my chances?

Keep your profile up to date, upload new photos regularly and make sure all your details are complete. Authentic, clear photos increase your chances of being selected by clients.

Am I committing to anything when I apply?

No, applying does not commit you to anything. You decide for yourself whether to accept an offer.

How does the application process work, and when will I hear back?

After submitting your online application, you will receive a confirmation by email. Direct feedback is generally only given if you are selected for a project.

How do I register my child?

Registering a child works the same way as for adults — through the online form. It is important that a parent or legal guardian completes the application using the child's details and provides their consent. Children can be placed across all age groups, from babies to teenagers.


Photos & Profile

What kind of photos should I upload?

Simple, recent photos work best: 2 portrait shots (face) and 2 full-body shots. They don't need to be professionally taken, but should be clear and easy to see.

Can I update my profile later?

Yes, you can upload new or additional photos and update your details at any time. This keeps your profile current and attractive to clients.

Do you take photos of me?

STARBOXX does not offer comp card or portfolio shoots for your application. However, you are welcome to use your own photos for your profile.


Castings & Jobs

How will I find out about jobs?

Once you are registered, you will automatically be suggested for suitable projects. Clients can contact you through us if your profile is a good fit.

What kinds of jobs are available?

STARBOXX covers a wide range: models for photo shoots, actors for film & TV, extras for productions, presenters, children, seniors and many other talents.

Will I receive feedback after a casting or application?

Yes — if you are selected for a project, the production team or STARBOXX will contact you directly.

What types of projects are available (advertising, film, TV, social media)?

Projects span all areas — from classic advertising campaigns and film & TV productions to social media content.

Can I work as an extra or supporting actor without any experience?

Yes — extra roles are ideal for newcomers. No prior experience is needed; all you need is enthusiasm for getting involved.

Are there open castings, or is it invitation only?

At STARBOXX, open castings are announced exclusively via our email newsletter. In most cases, however, you will be personally invited when your profile matches a project.

Can I introduce myself to you in person?

No, an in-person introduction is not necessary. Applications are handled exclusively online. Your profile with photos and details is all clients need to get to know you.


Payment & Contracts

How does payment work?

The fee depends on the individual project. It is agreed upon in advance and paid out after your work is completed.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Yes, there is a clear agreement before every job, so all terms and conditions are transparent from the start.

Does the agency charge a commission or deduct anything from my fee?

No — you receive 100% of your agreed fee. Nothing is deducted.

When and how is payment made?

Invoicing and payment are processed once the job is completed. Normally, the money will be in your account within a few days of the assignment.


Organisation & Process

Where do castings and assignments take place?

STARBOXX is active in many cities worldwide, including Berlin, Paris, Vienna, Rome and Madrid. Details about locations will be provided when you are suggested for a specific project.

Are travel costs covered?

It depends on the project. Some productions cover travel costs, others do not. You will be informed of the details before confirming your booking.


Privacy & Security

Who can see my profile?

Your profile is only visible to clients and the agency. It will only be shared publicly on the internet with your approval and ours.

Can I delete my profile?

Yes, you can remove your entry from the database at any time if you no longer wish to be listed.

How does the agency protect me from unreliable clients?

STARBOXX carefully vets clients and projects before suggesting you for them, ensuring that you only receive legitimate and trustworthy offers.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password at any time in the login area of the website.


Career & Development

Does the agency offer tips or coaching for newcomers?
